About the Event
Social workers care deeply about the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities. Prostate cancer may affect one person, but its impact reaches loved ones, caregivers, neighbors, and entire communities.
This program is designed to inform and educate everyone—because anyone can have a family member, friend, or loved one affected by prostate cancer. The more we know, the more we can help. Through awareness, education, and advocacy, social workers play a vital role in advancing early detection, informed decision-making, and health equity for all.
This event is organized by AdMeTech Foundation in partnership with the Greater Boston Association of Black Social Workers Community Affairs Committee and Education & Training Committee.
