About the Event
Discover the John Wilson Exhibit, "Witnessing Humanity," which showcases the creations of a Black American artist and sculptor focused on themes of social justice, violence, and racism. John Wilson is renowned for his sculpture titled "Eternal Presence," known as the Big Head, situated at the National Center for Afro-American Artists on Walnut Avenue in Roxbury.
Museum entry will FREE thanks to a grant provided by the MFA Community Engagement department.
Following the exhibit visit, join the group for lunch (self-pay) at the MFA New American Cafe in the atrium.
